Seattle-Bellevue SunBreak, February 11, 2001

 

 

It was a fine, clear morning around Puget Sound this day. From just across NE 20th St. from my apartment, the mighty Mt. Rainier rose up against the southern sky...

 

 

 

 

From the same vantage point (the Overlake section of Bellevue), looking westward toward downtown Seattle and the Olympic Mountains...

 

 

 

 

Having moved a couple of miles to the west on NE 8th St., facing central Bellevue, downtown Seattle and the Olympic mountains in the background...  

 

 

 

 

 

From the same spot as above, NE 8th St., looking back to the east at the Cascade Mountains. At this point, a block from my workplace and a couple of miles from my apartment, I oft have the pleasure of seeing downtown Seattle silhouetted against the Olympic Mountains before me, and at the same time, the snowcapped Cascades in my rearview mirror. Not a bad way to start a day...
